The previous paint job was removed and the metal has been sealed with a satin gloss finish. The windshield is new glass. The seats are removal cushions that match the car's flat black deck and bare metal look. The back lights are originals with blue dots from '39 ford with new bulbs but still need to be hooked up to the wire harness that is already in place. On Feb-03-15 at 08:01:39 PST. seller added the following information:Q?: Hi. I've been wondering where that car ended up I was watching it on CL. a couple years ago when it was apart. Is there anyway to lower the radiator a little to put it more in line with the cowl? Have you been driving it? Hard to tell from the pics. but the pedals look like they may need some modifications? A: Hello Sir. yes the car was on CL when I bought from previous owner. It needed work because it sat for a while after it was taken apart to remove the paint which was cracking. To lower the radiator you could relocate to front of axle and extend the hoses and maybe add an electric fan. The pedals work fine with no interference if that's what you are referring to. It needs the brake and clutch pedal foot pads. I've driven it a few times for short distances since I never registered or insured it and brakes need some more adjusting to be totally safe. Selling because it came down to this one or my 30 A coupe. Q?: I guess all I want to know for sure is that the engine runs good. doesn't knock or smoke or use oil and that the trans. and rear are ok. doesn't pop out of gear or have excessive noise in either. There is some kind of wire harness in place right? When I asked about the pedals it was because they appear to be upside down in the pic. like your heels would actually be on the pads? One last question. how tall are you and how well do you fit in the car? Thanks again and sorry for all the questions. A: Dear wells2182. Mechanically the motor is in good shape. Engine starts right up-idles good. shifts gears and steers as can be expected for cars from this era. If you read the description there is a wiring harness in place with most of the circuits already working This includes ignition headlights dashlights all gauges/sensors. The only things left to wire up are the tail/brake lights and the wiring is already in place. Also the horn mounted on the firewall. and turn signals if you wish to use them. I'm 5'8' 165# and yes. it's a little challenging getting in and out. but could you imagine if it had a roof. Just don't grab the windshield while your doing it because there is no frame around glass. Q?: Is the body bolted to the frame or welded. is the car titled and registered in your name. are the clutch and brake pedals there and how well do they work. does the rear make any noises thanks. - bigul48 A: The body is bolted to frame at 2 places on firewall with bushings and in the rear on each side. Easy to remove. Car is registered in my name with FL title. Clutch and brake pedals work fine. but there are no pedal pads. I used the ones from my other car to test drive but will send buyer a set. The rear Banjo "noises" are just as Henry Ford designed it. Seriously. it operates find with just the usual whining . The pics are of the old and new parts after brakes were rebuilt. The drums are ok and did not need to be replaced. All shoes and hardware are new. also the bearings are in fine condition. These brakes are "juice " type and do not self adjust. - carvila634On Feb-03-15 at 16:56:55 PST. seller added the following information:
