2004 Ford F-150 Heritage XLT Extended Cab Pickup 4-Door 4.6L, 4x4 Truck

2004 Ford F-150 XLT. (South Windsor. CT) Up for auction is a 2004 Ford F-150 XLT. extended cab 4X4 pickup truck. The truck has only 74. 44 miles on it. and runs and shifts good. It has a 4. liter V-8 engine. with automatic transmission. This has the XLT option package. It has a factory installed tow hitch. with a 2” receiver. has a bed liner. and has a real nice heavy duty brush guard. I have given the vehicle an inspection. and some repairs were made. See details below. for items that are not working. and in need of repair. I purchased this truck from the U. S. Government. where it was used by the U. S. Park Service in Massachusetts. This truck has all the necessary paperwork for registration. and will come with the standard Government form 97. “Certificate to Obtain Title to a Vehicle. and a bill of sale. I purchased this truck along with 2 other Government vehicles. and decided to sell this one since this is an extra truck. The great thing about Government vehicles is that they keep their vehicles maintained on a regular basis. and the vehicles are not abused. The truck is located at 50 Ident Road. South Windsor. CT. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________-Engine: 4. 6 liter V-8. Engine runs great. with no leaks. The exhaust system is in good condition. Transmission: Four speed automatic. and shifts excellent. with no slippage. and no leaks. Drivetrain. Suspension and brakes: The front hubs are not locking in when the truck is shifted into four wheel drive. From research on the net. these trucks are known for having a problem with the solenoid that engages the hubs. The front pads and rotors were inspected. and in good condition. A new brake hose was installed on the driver’s side. New brake pads were installed on the rear. Even though the ABS light is on. the truck stops great. New front sway bar ends links were installed. Electrical: A new alternator was installed. along with a new serpentine belt. The power windows. power mirrors. horn and radio do not work; not sure what the problem is. The ABS light is on in the dash. Dash lights. power locks. signal lights. headlights are all in good working order. All the gauges are working. No check engine light on. Interior: The truck has all cloth seats. and there is a rip in driver’s seat. and there is a rip on the back part of the rear bench seat. Carpets are in good shape. The carpet on the passenger side is a little damp due to there were two antennas on the roof that were removed when I got the truck. and the holes were left unsealed. I caulked the holes with silicone. so the leak has been fixed. . Exterior / body: Overall. the body is in decent condition. considering the year and mileage. The is a small crease in the passenger fender. about half way down the fender. There are no rust spots on the body. and it did have stickers that were removed with a heat gun. I started to remove the green stripes. but this will take a little more effort. but they will come off. The front brush guard is a real heavy duty one. and is set up for a winch. The emblems are missing from the tail gate. Tires & rims: The truck has the factory aluminum rims.
