Description |

Very rare extra-cab version of 1978 Ford F250.
May not be a beauty queen at the moment, (someone shot a BB hole through the left cab window, and the right tail light cover is cracked), but the truck has great bones, and has never let me down. Odometer says 5,369 miles, but since it only has 5 places, I would say it's gone around at least once in the last 38 years.
Engine was replaced with a re-built 1993 V8 engine (don't know when installed, and can't see the number), and starts every time. Tires are in great shape, and I've kept it well serviced since I bought it to help renovate my house in 2011.
I had originally planned to restore it as a classic when the house was done, but other priorities have gotten in the way. If you're inclined, this one might shine up nice with some body work and paint. If you want a work truck, it's perfect as is.
