Description

MUST SELL or TRADE (REFER TO END OF WRITE UP BELOW)

This is a true California car. I am the 2nd owner of this 70 Cougar. It has the original blue plates with yellow numbers/letters. Providing the car sells, the California plates will go to the perspective owner if from California. However, if sold out of the state of California, I will retain the license plates.

The original 351Wmotor was rebuilt to stock specifications approximately 2,000 miles ago. It has the original automatic transmission and rear end. The rear end is not posi-traction. It's all original.

The interior is mostly a survivor.

The car has 90,325 original miles.

It has had a recent repaint similar to the original color.

Since I have had the car for about 6 years, I have had the AC rebuilt, the manual brakes converted to power brakes andhad the drums replaced on the front with a disc brake conversion kit that was purchased through West Coast Classic Cougar located out of Washington state. I have purchased most of the replacement parts as either used or OEM. I also purchased a center console from the same place as this is a custom made console. I have also installed a KenwoodAM/FM/CD stereo located under the drivers seat, amplifier is located under the passenger seat and had 6" speakers installed in the rear package tray area.

The car has the AM/FM Cougar dash mounted radio. I have also added a tachometer that was custom made at the location of the clock blank.

I have the original drums for the front brakes and the old AC vacuum unit that was located under the interior dash.

I have the original owners manual, 5 original shop manuals and a collection of receipts in a binder that would support my investment to date. I have more than $20k invested into this really nice driver.

Will trade car for a 340 6 pack TA running motor with "TA" casting on block along with a TA 4-Speed Trans with "TA" casting number on housing with true gears as I require for my 70 TA Challenger. Would consider motor only if a complete numbers matching system by date codes.

Serious inquiries only please. Any questions and or reasonable offers, pleasecorrespond through my Ebay email account.
