2009 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor low miles and lowidle hours!

Up for bid is my Crown Vic Police Package (P71) model with only 59,000 milesand 1335 hours on it. This car lived its life in a small village department and was used as an unmarked unit for its life. Hard to believe that this car was in service for 6 years and only had 50K put on it by the department but that is why I purchased it!

The car is your typical P71 with all the power options to include power seat and adjustable pedals. Every option on the car works properly and no lights are illuminated on the dash, not even the low tire pressure light like most of these cars. The body is very nice with only a few dings on it, some regular use scratches on the sides and the interior is one of the nicest that I have seen in a police car. No rips or tears and the driver seat is also in perfect condition with even the foam feeling like new.

The car has only two holes in it for antennas, one on the roof and one on the deck lid (look at the photos to see placement). These still have the antennas on them and don’t take away from the sleekness of the car.

The exterior is a very nice dark gray (think factory was called Smokestone) and is very rare to find a P71 in this color. The metallic in the paint shines like crazy when the sun hits it and I don’t see any evidence of any paint work ever being done on the car.

This car is 100% turnkey and ready to go, the car was recently inspected and also had an oil change only a few hundred miles ago. The tires are getting thin but they did recently pass inspection, you will probably want to replace them sooner rather than later. The temp control module needs to be replaced, stuck on cold right now, and I purchased the new module just need to install it. I will try to replace it this week but if not it will be included with the sale of the car.

I love this car but recently acquired a beautiful Lincoln Town Car and would rather keep the Town Car and sell the Crown. I searched for some time to find a low mileage P71 with low hours on it. The car shows 59,639 miles and the hour meter has 1,335 hours on it. That is very low for both miles and hours, I had a Crown that had over 10,000 hours on it before…….you never know when you buy them at police auctions.
