1962 Ford F-100 Unibody Longbed Pickup restored. This truck is a blank slate all stock, complete and mostly original, primered and ready for you to make it your own. Paint it the color you choose.
Rust has been removed, replaced with new metal, and the area treated with Ospho rust inhibitor. The truck is ready to paint and whatever color you decide. I have painted it with white Omni MP series epoxy primer .
Ask for pictures of the process. I have lots.
The engine was rebuilt in 2000 according to previous owner. It runs great with no oil leak. The only non original parts are the hood which was changed for a rust free hood from a 65., and the 3 speed column shift was changed for a 4 speed on the floor from that era (see pic)which has a light oil drip. All the lights and gauges work as they should. The horns work but currently have a bad connection and won't sound. Heater and wipers work as they should.
223 straight 6 engine Holley one barrel carburetor .New fuel tank, fuel pump.
I have taken it down to bare metal where any exposed areas had surface rust. See picture. It was thoroughly wiped with grease and wax remover and sprayed with. Epoxy primer. I have my more photos if you would like to see. Where body filler is used it is only lightly.
The torque box under the front of the bed was removed, the area treated with osph, and replaced with 11 gauge sheet steal, professionally welded.(see pictures) . I have more pics i can send.
