Description

Extremely nice 1996 Ford F-250 RWD with the venerable and almost cult-like 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel. The Powerstroke fanboys seem to really have a thing with the old 7.3 Powerstroke because it is bulletproof and doesn't have all of the electronic geegaws that seem to break down on the newer rigs. This engine has only just over 155K original miles on it, so it has many, many more miles left to go. Many of those miles are from long-distance driving. The other thing that makes this truck rare is the fact that it has a 5-speed manual transmission, which again is getting hard to find, especially in such a low mile truck in such great shape. This truck is in fantastic shape inside and out. There are a few scratches and dings, as you'd imagine on a 20 year old truck, but overall, this thing is in just amazing shape. The paint shines up nicely, and the interior is just short of mint. It's a great blue-green color that really stands out. It has most of the power options - brakes, windows, door locks. All of those work. The AC works great as does the heater. Cruise control even works. It has a custom heavy-haul hitch that is tied to the frame, so you could pull most anything with it. It also has a trailer brake setup and controller. It has front and rear fuel tanks, with a switch on the dash that works, as does the fuel gauge. The only things of note are the cutout in the box where the 5th wheel used to go; a dent on the middle of the tailgate; and paint wear where the topper used to sit on the box. The chrome piece on the top of the tailgate is also pitted. There are no rust problems -- the truck has spent most of its life in a dry climate. The tires are two years old and in great shape. I would not hesitate to hop in this truck right now, hook up a car trailer, and drive to either coast and back. It's dead reliable, beautiful and just a gem. The truck is in my warehouse in Denver, CO, near I-70 and I-25, easily accessible by truck. Please let me know if you have any questions. Good Luck!
