This Ford Taurus GL is an excellent buy for someone looking to make a smart decision on a reliable, extremely practical car. Clean both inside and out, this Taurus is fitted with most power and options upgrades- since it's the top of the line GL model.
I purchased this vehicle for my son and then he decided he no longer wanted to get a drivers license. Since the car was being purchased for my son I did the research on the car and found it to be a good reliable vehicle for him to drive. It's not uncommon for the Ford Taurus to exceed 300,000 miles.
This Taurus has an average of less than 7000 miles a year on it.
That is way below the national average.

Replaced the front bumper cover with one from a 1998 Taurus, the original had a cut in it
Installed new EGR valve
Installed new spark plugs and wires
Installed new air filter
Did an oil change with new filter
Installed new water pump
Flushed the radiator and filled with new coolant
Installed new hood struts
New battery
Installed new thermostat
Flushed the power steering and replaced with new fluid
Original owner had the fuel system flushed at 121,000 miles
The interior is in good shape and tires have good tread on them
Everything on this Taurus works as it should
The Bad:
The dash cover above the instrument cluster has separated.
I am not that good with glue so I did not want to make it worse
The body has a couple of small dents
This vehicle has the original stereo so it is AM/FM cassette. However, it sounds great.
