Description

You are looking at a 1954 Ford wagon, a sweet little car! This car is a blast to drive, and gets more attentionthanmany of my hot rods! my initialplan was to restore it becauseof how rare the 2 doors are, but after driving it around and having a blast i decided its best to leave it and love it! It is not perfect, and needs a little tlc to make a good driver, and even more if it were to be restored. like, but not everything, a few little leakes, the passenger seat isn'tbolted in, i dont have the front bumper for it, tires aren'tperfect, starting to dry rot buthold air and i'vebeen driving it the gauges arnt hooked upWhat it is; 1954 wagon, car is sold as is, with a bill of sale only327 out of a 67 chevelleturbo 400 tranny behind it8 inch ford rearearly camaro subframe with disc brakes and power steeringtilt columnnewcarburetornew aluminum radiatornew wiring, high beams, low, signals, tails and brake lights(tail lights are cracked)Headers with 3 inch exhaust exiting out infront of the back tires, loud but crispyIt is also running in the pictures*

I wanted to add, i had a few people asking me about a title, i have access to a dealer plate from work, so i used that to run it around. But for anyone who doesn'tknow or hasn'tdone it before, it is very easy to get a title for an older car with only a bill of sale. I know in some states it is near impossible, but thankfully vermont lets us register cars if we'renot a resident. Now the question is what does one need or how does one do it? you need a bill of sale, which i will give you, then you need to fill out a few forumsthen pay sales tax in VT, then in about 1-2 weeks you will get a transferable registration(title) and vermont plates. Then you take your paperwork and register it in your state, Vermont plates don'tneed to be turned back in after, so you can do what you want with them. There'stons of info on this on the web, and if anyone has any questions feel free to contact me, i have a friend who does this almost for a living, i'veonly done it a few times but he is the man for it!

now the question everyone is thinking now, why didn'ti do it? to be honest, i never needed too because i could just throwa plate on it, and i didn'trealize that people didn'tknow this little trick, people think you need to be a resident in VT, and you don't, they have an address on line to mail everything into, they do it like this becausethey want the tax revenue.Disclaimer, this doesn'twork on anything 25 years old and newer in vermont, there are other states that can do 25 years or newer but you need a residence there, many "title companies" do that, they set up a remote dealership in that state then do it, i went through one of those years ago and got a title at a cost of $500, never again! now i know what i know. I will add links, this can be helpful to anyone even if you'renot interested in this car.
I have to links/ websites that it wont let me add, but they can be found with a simple google search or i can sent them to anyone interested, one a guy walks you through the process and one with several people that have used it on a hot rod car page with good results!
