Brand New Michelins Too !!
This Thunderbird belongs to a very good client of mine. His automobiles are always pristine and well kept. This one is no exception. Sporting 27,450 miles~the car has never had paintwork or abuse. A non smoker car and very tidy inside. This car is kept in a climate controlled warehouse all the time. His Thunderbird was ordered with no hardtop. No scratches, dings dents or accidents, this is the way you want to find your NEW TO YOU Thunderbird. Brand new Michelin tires with about 200 miles on them. This car also has a prototype windscreen that he acquired, one of a kind
Super acceleration and stops on a dime
In 1955, Ford planners winnowing down the list of proposed names for a certain forthcoming two-seater figured Cruisejet, Wheelaway, and Roadocrat didn't quite fit the image they were seeking to create. Ford has done a masterful job of translating cues from the classic TBirds of the ’50s and early ’60s onto the modern Lincoln chassis. The resulting car fills a vacant marketing niche for a convertible in the mid-30s with more emphasis on style than on speed. The low hood scoop and long sweeps of the fenders make for lovely scenery out the chrome-ringed and radically curved windshield. To the rear, the canvas top luxuriates in a yawning bay while the hindquarters take their time dovetailing downward and inward to a smart point, leaving just enough room for a shallow trunk bracketed by two ruby-red afterburners. In an era when engineers squeeze every millimeter of a car for packaging efficiency, the new Thunderbird squanders real estate in a way that hasn't been practiced in Detroit for decades. Owner's books and manuals included with sale
as well as both remote control entry keys.
