Description

The Terminator, first year of the Eaton supercharger on the Cobra. The exterior is mostly the same but this engine has had some great modifications done! Starting with a JTL cold air intake feeding the ported and polished factory throttle body plenum and Eaton supercharger. Sixty pound fuel injectors, new coil packs and a 2.7 inch upper pulley and 100mm idler arm pulley. The inner serpentine belt has been replaced as well as the outer belt and water pump. New twin disc Macleod street/strip racing clutch, clutch quadrant and firewall adjustment. MGW short throw shifter and royal purple tranny fluid. New tires, drilled and slotted rotors with carbon/ceramic pads. The rear end has ford racing 3.73 gears. A Magnaflow cat back and X pipe all stainless steel! The suspension consists of new front and rear sway bars. Full length sub frame connectors, welded and a strut tower brace. Inside I have a Panasonic 6.5 inch touchscreen head unit with navigation. Boston Acoustic speakers and custom made subwoofer box and 12 inch subwoofer. Two amplifiers are mounted in the rear, one for the speakers and one for the sub. I also have the original headlights and a custom boot to cover the convertible top when it is down.
The dyno done in 2010 showed almost 500hp to the wheels. I would note that when this was done the temperature was 90 degrees in St. Louis, Mo. The car also had not been tuned as of that time.
This is a great car but it's time to move on. Put the top down this summer with an 'almost' Classic car with a lot of torque and ponies to the wheels. All tuned by Pops Racing!
