*****I will be traveling June 16-June 20. I am available to help arrange shipping and answer questions but will not be able to transfer ownership during those 5 days.*****
2000 Ford f-250 7.3 diesel, 4X4 extended cab, automatic trans. This truck is nearly all stock with no motor mods, no tuners, no big turbo, no 5th wheel holes in the bed and even has the stock radio. Very unmolested example of a workhorse 7.3.The truck runs great and the turbo pulls hard. It has 231,000 miles and doesn't have a single leak. It drives straight, brakes straight, and doesnt make any weird sounds or clunks. BF Goodrich All Terrains have about half the life left. I would say that this truck is in great condition for a 2000 diesel, but isnt absolutely perfect. The Body has only the smallest of a door ding and a few scratches (one big one on the bed). The previous owner painted the tailgate with a rattle can and did NOT do a good job. The tailgate is not damaged and shows no signs of repair, just a bad paint job. The roof and hood show some paint fade. The rest of the paint is in great shape. It has lived an easy life. Never had a 5th wheel and hasn't pulled a big trailer by myself of the previous owner. Power seats with driver lumbar, power mirrors, power locks and windows with key fob.Lots of recent maintenance including everything below within the last 10k milesAll new Rif-Raf turbo hosesNew, lifetime steering box, steering pump, and both high pressure hosesNew Pro-Comp shocksNew poly urethane bushings installed in front end (rears also included but not installed)New front brakes including new calipers, rotors, pads (yes new calipers)New glow plugsFresh oil changeBaldwin air filterThe only issues the truck has are that the vacuum hubs do not engage. The 4WD must be engaged by locking the hubs manually. Common issue and lots of info on diagnosing and fixing online. I only used 4wd one time so this never became a problem since the 4wd still works fine once you lock the hubs.Finding a 7.3 this original and unmolested is tough. I know the market and I know my truck well and I feel it is priced to sell, but cash talks, just but dont be stupid. Come see the truck and we can talk. Email offers will not be responded to.
Used vehicles are difficult to compare by words and pictures, especially one that is 17 years old. Please be local and come see the vehicle in person, or send a friend that is local and that you trust. I have listed the vehicle as accurately as I can, but everyone has a different perspective and gauge.
