. This is a 1931 Ford Model A Sport Coupe the owner asked me to list. His grandfather restored the car from 1986 to 1996. A few years later he passed away and his grandson, current owner, inherited the car and has owned it for over 12 years. He drove it on runs with the local Model A club but doesn't use it much anymore so he has decided to sell the car. It is Chicle Drab accented with a belt line yellow pin stripe, yellow wheels and wide white wall tires. Fenders and running boards are black. Engine fires right up and runs fine. Car drives well. The generator has been changed to an alternator and the old generator is included in sale. There is an aftermarket water temperature gauge in the interior under the original gauge cluster. The sport coupe has a soft canvas top with glass back window. Top has landau irons on both sides. It has a rumble seat. Car has dual cowl lights, dual exterior mirrors. This is a nice older restoration that is ready for someone to drive and enjoy. Email any question and you may ask for the owner's phone number to set up a time to see the Model A. Car looks sharp and is in really nice condition. It has a spare wheel and tire mounted out back. Sport Coupe has a soft top. Tires are 4.75/5.00 X19 wide white walls The Chicle Drab and yellow combination with black fenders and running boards look great together. Classic Model A front end Two taillights Interior has a bench seat and floor shift You can hop in and drive it off Original seat has been recovered Gauge cluster and added aftermarket water temperature gauge Note on the right side there is the hot air heater opening Rear view mirror Passenger side of the top Driver side of the top Driver door Passenger door Engine runs great Note Auto-Lite manifold heater Firewall with VIN, gas shut off and coil Distributor has clear cap top Steering column and starter Alternator replaced the old generator Manifold heater Runs great Lift deck lid for the rumble seat - note brake lights work Rumble seat Other side of the seat Owner has a couple of things stored in the floor Ready to give a couple of friends a ride VIN is A4681797 VIN plate on firewall matches VIN on title - engine number is unreadable but appears to not be the same as the VIN on the title. I'm guessing the engine was replaced at some time in the car's history. Car comes with air cleaner, old generator and a book about the Model A. Book says copyright is 1931 - we are not sure it if is original or an older reproduction. Owner has a couple of paint cans that were used to paint the car years ago. We doubt the paint is still good. Driver side Passenger side Under the engine You can see part of the battery Frame and underside appear solid You can see the underside and exhaust system Model A grill Grill and headlights Hood and windshield with cowl lights - all lights work Driver hood side and front fender Cowl with gas fill Note wiper and motor under visor Doors open and close properly Driver side running board - note step pad reflection in paint Driver side of the soft top Driver side rear wheel and fender Back window is glass Deck lid for the rumble seat Car has two taillights Spare has a cover Steps for entry to rumble seat Passenger rear fender Landau iron on side of top Running board on passenger side Sharp body - has a couple of chips, etc that you'd expect in an older restoration Passenger side hood - both hood sides open and lock correctly Passenger side front fender Car with both hood sides open If you are seriously interested in this car my advice is to come and see it.
