1933 Ford Phaeton. This rare factory stee, 4 cyl. standard Phaeton is a ground up restoration and has only been driven 14 miles since restored in 2005. It received a Dearborn Award (top award) at it's first and only Early V-8 Club showing. It received 967 points out of 1000 at the show and has since had many deductions corrected. All mechanical components were overhauled including balancing the engine. The engine has the counter balanced crank. The differential has optional 3.54 gears. A restored glove box radio with face plate goes with the sale. I also have side curtains and top boot ( photo on back seat in bags). The body is painted the original Coach Maroon with black fenders and Poppy Red wheels and stripe. It has a LeBaron Boney black Harts cloth top, side curtains and boot. Many NOS parts were used in the restoration including the running boards. The tires are original Goodyear diamond treads and should not be used for higher speed driving. I live on a gravel country road so the car does not get driven unless I trailer it to pavement. Someone who lives on pavement could enjoy the car far more than I have. The last picture was taken recently through the door of the trailer where it has been stored inside a metal building.I may consider a 33 Ford cabriolet project or driver on trade.
