1935 Ford V8 Deluxe Phaeton Listed on behalf of Monte Shelton Located in PORTLAND, OREGON This 1935 Ford Model 48 V8 Deluxe Phaeton was owned for many years by a founding member of the Oregon Region (Columbia River Regional Group) of the Early Ford V8 Club of America. It received a full frame-off restoration to show standards, winning awards at the Forest Grove, Oregon Concours d'Elegance (one of the top shows on the west coast) and in Early Ford V8 meets. It presents beautifully today. The body was stripped to bare metal and painted in correct Dearborn Blue color with Vermillion Red pinstripes and wheels. A beautiful combination. All chrome was re-plated and trim polished. New correct interior and top installed. Nicely optioned with covered rear spare tire, dual chrome horns and restored working Ford AM radio. No side curtains included, but available from LeBaron-Bonney if desired. (We don't believe this car has been driven in the rain since it was restored.) Please see the photos to admire the high quality of this restoration. It's simply gorgeous throughout. Mechanically, this Ford is a standout. Fully rebuilt original 221 cubic inch V8. Stock 85 horsepower with the addition of dual exhaust with Fenton header. A nice exhaust note when going down the road. Plenty of power. Great acceleration. Smooth-shifting 3-speed transmission. WORKING COLUMBIA 2-SPEED REAR AXLE. Perfect for touring! Newer wide whitewall tires. Ready to go anywhere in sporty style. See video of engine running. Ford was America's best-selling car in 1935, and this Phaeton is great example of why. Beautiful Ford styling. While Ford built nearly 1 million cars in 1935, just 6,073 of these Phaetons were produced, with few surviving today, and certainly fewer restored to this level. If you're looking for one of the best, here it is. A realistic resrve has been placed on this car in keeping with its rarity and quality. Please bid accordingly. WE WILL HAPPILY SELL TO BIDDERS WORDWIDE. Thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK! If the video link below is inactive, please go to: https://youtu.be/7aHtkA9ejSo
