Description

Classic 4X4 that will get peoples attention on the trail and off. Lots of blood. sweat and cash invested into this rig. We have enjoyed driving this bronco on and off the road for many years she's been reliable and just a overall pleasure to own. It's hard to drive anywhere without this truck attracting attention. and it's pretty cool to be in the "Bronco Club" . it becomes a obsession at some point as anywhere you drive your scanning for a bronco. If you want a daily driver make sure you have a unlimited gas card because she slurps gas like a sailor on shore leave. So unrelenting in her thirst that passing a gas station is ill advised. You'll feel her pull you into one of those gas stalls. and make sure you fill both tanks you'll need it. Owning a bronco is not for the mechanically illiterate as they will challenge you with all their quirks. Some times just to drive down the street you need to make sure that the proper procedure is adhered to or she'll buck like a bronco. She has her needs and you better learn what turns her on. Make sure you get on a first name basis with one of the bronco part houses employees as they will become an invaluable source of information and parts for your new bronco. Jason at Wild Horses 4X4 is my guy. he doesn't even ask for my credit card number anymore. They will also take care of you in pricing if you call in. Be mindful that your significant other may become a bit concerned about the amount of time that you'll spend on the phone with one of these guys. The other thing to know when you own a bronco is under no circumstances may you be associated with anyone whom owns a Jeep. We call them Heeps. and usually when encountered on the trail they will need your horse to pull them out of the situation they found themselves in. When a heep driver waves at you make sure to give them the proper salute. One other thing to be aware of is that many a passerby will say to you " Hey that's a nice Jeep!" I have several responses for this insult but I will leave it up to you as your first task as a bronco owner to come up with one. The Holly Projection is a pain in the ass to tune. If I did it again I would have put in another system but that is hindsight but works much better than the Holley carb I had before. Needs a Tranny Kickdown bar. I shift it manually now. The Dana 20 is fun to shift. if you ever shifted one you know what I mean. Need to add a second fuel pump for rear tank. We didn't install the second pump and return so if you are using the rear tank the return gas goes to the AUX tank. and you need to switch to AUX tank before it overfills. I just drive off the AUX tank. when it get low I switch to the main. let it fill the AUX and switch back. Oh the joys of driving a Bronco! Heater box needs to be wired. but it does work. Wiring harness is original. it in generally decent shape but if I was buying a new bronco I would upgrade to a Painless harness. The front clip doesn't look the greatest. Some body damage from my last trail excursion. war stripes as they are known. All the damage on drivers rear quarter and driver door. see attached pics or I can send more. Shouldn't be more than 1k to repair. Paint is in overall good condition with some dings scratches. minus trail damage) I had the whole thing painted in 2009 all body panels were skimmed and a custom hood scoop with vents fabricated. The hood looks awesome and doesn't look like that fake glue on scoop everyone puts on their rig. Feel free to message me if you want pic's. video or just have a general question. Happy bidding and good luck!
