Description

This is a 1929 Briggs Model A Ford three window Deluxe Fordor Sedan. I bought the body from a gentleman that just wanted the chassis and put it on my own chassis. The body is very clean and I cannot find any body rot or patch panel work. Most of the interior wood is not bad but some of the door wood will need some work. If your handy with a saw it shouldn't be bad. The top wood I would replace or what I was going to do is go filler panel hard top. I put a thin wood sheet temporarily over the top. The windshield and two front door glass are cracked but they are flat so can be cut at almost any glass shop. The chassis was coated with POR15 and the welting was put on before the body was set in place. All body bolts were put in place but not tightened as the body needs the shimming process done for proper door alignment. When the body was moved from one chassis to the other the front upper cowl separated from the top panels and will need reattached. The glass fuel bowl still has some fresh fuel in it from the other running gear. The wheels are 16 inch from a 30's something Ford and lets it set a little lower but will need tires. The front spring brace has had a stiffener welded in and wont be seen with radiator mounted. The front and rear springs have both been rebuilt with the anti squeak material added. The upholstery is from an older restore that was done on this car and some of it was still wrapped in plastic that I removed. Some of the upholstery is good some will need some help and the front left kick panel upholstery is missing. The interior has just been set in place and not attached. What you see is what I have for the car other then some of the small upholstery pieces. The car would make a great Hot Rod or restore. You can take all the family out on cruise night. I came across a pickup that I would rather build and don't need two projects that is why I am selling. This will be sold with a bill of sale and a $500 dollar PayPal deposit is required within 48 hours to hold the car for one week. Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost and arrangements. The car is located in Sacramento California. Please ask all questions before bidding! Thank you for looking.
