This is a really nice 1949 Ford Club Coupe. It is not a perfect "Show Car" or "Trailer Queen" but it is a fantastic driver and very dependable. The car was a barn find and not driven for 30 yrs and was rescued from and auction over a year ago. New panels were welded in the floor and new rocker panels installed. It was painted as close to original color as possible. The beautiful interior was done also to as original as possible. The brakes were totally rebuilt including master cylinders. wheel cylinders and shoes. The engine is original with new belts. hoses. plugs/points. etc. Compression is even. Engine starts and runs great. Transmission and clutch are smooth and operate as they should. All gauges work except the clock and radio do not work. Spare tire is believed to be original and looks great in the carpeted trunk. In the glove box was an envelope with the original owners manual and other unique papers and books including an original invoice dated 8/20/48 for a 1949 Ford Club Coupe from Shealy Motor Company.
