Up for auction is a 1988 Thunderbird turbo coupe with 107. 59 miles on it. car was in storage for 12 years. when it went into storage it had 4 new tires. new mufflers. new tailpipes. nd new brake pads the whole way around. when it came out i had to put a new timing belt on it and fired it right up. motor runs good no smoke or noise. has 5 speed manual that grinds alittle going into second gear. think the sycronizer is getting bad. I have a spare transmission out of a 1985 Thunderbird turbo coupe that I think is good. I will be throwing that in with the car. things that have to be fixed 1 rear veiw mirror needs to be glued back onto the windshield 2 drivers door rubber seal is torn a little might need to be replaced. 3 wipers work but won't park in right position. 4 key will not unlock doors because rods in the doors got nocked off you would have to take inside door panels off to fix. 5 car needs a battery i had to borrow one to get car running. I have an old battery that will go with the car as a core when you buy a new one. car has no visible rust on the outside but does have some small dings and dents. car has good interior no tears or rips but 1 or 2 small cigarette burns. it also has a 6 speaker premium sound system with equilizer. car has a keyless remote which the car will not start without it. paint is faded on trunk. oof. and hood. car has a reconstructed title out of Glenburnie. Maryland i bought it from a carlot as a theft recovery with a clear reconstructed title and was issued a new vin plate in the door jam as you can see in the picture with a new vin number that is AC184187MD car is in original stock condition and is complete. drivers seat is only one that's power. ac doesn't work might just need a charge i don't know. other than that i think everything else works but you should go over the car and check it out to be safe and sure. car does run and drive. clutch seems to be in good working order also. with alittle time and work this would be a nice car for someone who has time and knowledge to fix it I just don't have the time to fool around with it anymore so my loss is your gain. feel free to ask any questions i will answer them the best i can. 400 dollar deposite due at end of the auction and the rest in 5 days after the auction ends. buyer is responsible for shipping or pick up if you are local
