**The car has a clean and clear title. If you would like an AutoCheck Vehicle History Report. I would be happy to e-mail you a free PDF**2005 Turn 1 Shelby CS8What is a CS8? The CS6 / CS8 cars are arguably the rarest modern-day shelby mustang out there. How rare? Well there have only been about 16 documented CS6's and 9 CS8's. Luckily. this is one of those documented CS8's. I can sit here all day and feed you hard data on how rare this car is. but all you need to do is ask yourself if you've ever seen one of these cars in person. That's how rare they are. Brief History of the Shelby CS6 and CS8In 2005 while Shelby was just beginning their current relationship with Ford. they took a Sonic Blue 2005 V6 Mustang and created the first CS6. which debuted at the 2005 SEMA Auto Show. While planning to produce the CS6 and its bigger version. the Shelby CS8. one thing led to another and they began production of the 2006 Shelby GT-H. The CS6 / CS8 program never got off the ground because of agreements they made with Ford in an effort to avoid competition with SVT vehicles that would be using the Shelby name (gt500). Instead. it was offered as a kit and as separate parts. The kit included front and rear fascia. side scoops. upper and lower grille. an optional Paxton Supercharger. Ford Racing Suspension. and various other items. There was a Turn 1 and Turn 2 kit available for both the CS6 and CS8. with the main difference for the CS8 being the Paxton NOVI2200. The CS6 / CS8 and GT-H then went on to inspire the Shelby GT for 2007-2008. Unique PartsAlthough CS6 / CS8 parts were available individually or as a kit. the side stripes on this car (Part No. CS6012) were exclusively available to CS6 / CS8 owners who purchased the entire Turn 1 or Turn 2 kit. Many other parts on this car have been discontinued for years. For example. the grille for the CS8 (Part No. CS6-009) with driving lamp cutouts was discontinued after PIAA discontinued the p-1000 lamps on this car. The grille that shelby came out with after this has since been discontinued as well. To name a few things this car includes: shelby letter kit w/ back plate. shelby functional hood pin kit. shelby CS hood. CS side scoops. FRPP stingers. as well as a CDC ducktail & CDC LED 3rd brake light as featured on the cover of the August 2007 issue of Modified Mustangs (included). This car includes a certificate of authenticity from Shelby and a certificate of authenticity for the commemorative signature on the dash plaque. The silver signature on the dash is simply a vinyl sticker. but it looks great!About this CarI am the second owner of this beautiful CS8. and I have loved it for the time I have had it so far. I bought this car to drive it. and I did just that. Some may feel that a car this rare should be parked in a garage with a fraction of the miles this one has. but you'll understand once you get behind the wheel. With that being said. I would NOT consider this car to be in show room condition. but I would consider this car to be in darn good condition considering the mileage. You may find a rock chip here or there. but nothing noticeable unless within a few inches of the car. There is a small ding on the drivers side right behind the door and two on the ducktail spoiler. but they are so small I couldn't even get them on camera and I really tried! I am also fairly picky. but I still thought it was worth noting. More recently some road debris flew up and hit the driver side scoop (pictured in the link below). All four wheels have some curb rash (pictured in link below). The plastic radiator cover also has a crack in it from when it got caught on the hood pin while I was cleaning it (you can see this in the engine picture if you look at the passenger side hood pin). Lastly. the plastic release lever on the back of the passenger seat came off. but the seat is still fully functional (common problem for all s197 mustangs). Billet replacements are available. but i'll let the next owner decide what they would like to do. The two rear tires will need to be replaced in a few months depending on how much driving you do. They are a little older than the two front tires. On a more positive note. the vinyl stripes were just replaced last year (a little over $1. 00) and should last another 5-10 years depending on how often you take the car out. I got a good 7 years or 30. 00 miles out of the last set of stripes with regular washes and waxes. so you can expect many years of people staring in admiration as you drive by before having to replace the stripes again. Seriously. though. This car gets tons of attention everywhere I go. from pictures to comments. If you want something unique to take cruising or stand out. this is your car!Pictures can always tell you the condition of the car better than I can ever describe. but please feel free to contact me with any questions or additional pictures you might want at (956) 240-6413.
