Up for sale is my well cared for 1976 Ford Bronco. I purchased this in the spring of 2012 and have spent the last few years driving and restoring this beautiful rig. This Bronco has been a great weekend cruiser and real head turner. I would prefer not to sell but have recently picked up a new toy and don't really have the time or space for this unfortunately. It has 100. XX original miles on it. I will continue to drive the vehicle occasionally until I sell it. I purchased the vehicle with about 97. 00 miles on the odometer. This rig had spent the previous 36 years of its life in Atlanta. Georgia before I bought it and had it shipped to Texas. I am the second owner and purchased from a classic car dealership who purchased from the original owner. The Bronco was repainted by the previous owner in a sweet navy blue color. The previous color was a hunter green. The rig is equipped with an automatic transmission and 4WD works perfectly when/if needed however it was rarely used over the years but both the original owner and I engaged it periodically to make sure it functioned correctly. The car has power steering and power front disc brakes which make driving effortless. I was told by the previous owner that the C-4 Automatic Transmission was rebuilt 6 years ago – so now that would be about 8 years ago now. The engine bay could be show worthy with a few hours of TLC and elbow grease. It has an Edelbrock carburetor and a K&N air filter and also an electric fan was installed to help ensure the car stays cool in the Texas heat. This work was done in October of this year. AT the same time as this work was completed. the brake lines were replaced and the car stops much better as a result. The car runs strong and pulls hard. I have never had any major issues with the vehicle throughout my ownership. I replaced the battery in the spring of 2013. I bought the rig without a rear seat and with aftermarket front seats. I purchased an OEM rear bench and had it restored and reupholstered and purchased some OEM front seats to match. Also recently replaced were the OEM rear seat belts. interior floor mat and a bikini top. The exhaust was rerouted to exit from the rear to pass TX inspection. As a result the towing hitch was removed from the rig. however some of the wiring remains but I do not believe any of it still functions. Wheels and tires are in great condition. The white wagon wheels were purchased in the spring of 2013. The undercarriage of this Bronco is super solid with no rust issues common on these Broncos. Living it’s life in the dry. sunny South has been good to this vehicle. You will absolutely love driving this Bronco!! The car has dual gas tanks. however the auxiliary tank fuel gauge does not work. The main tank fuel gauge does work perfectly and is the only tank that i typically use. Hopefully you will agree that this is one sweet AND rare TWO OWNER 1976 Ford Bronco. It truly looks as good in person as it does in pictures and it has always been a real head turner! This will be a great investment that you can drive. enjoy and take to shows if you want. Finding one in this condition will not happen often. The Bronco has a new stereo installed in the spring of 2012 which is Bluetooth capable and has USB connection for your ipod/iphone or smart phone. Also. the car comes with the dukes of hazard “Dixie Horn” which is great fun. The compressor is on it's last legs. so if the horn is desired. one can be picked up for cheap ~$50 and installed where the old one was very easily. All the wiring/mounting brackets are installed. I may possibly do this myself over the next month if i get bored. Also included with the vehicle is the Spare tire with Bronco Cover. A modern starter that was purchased and never installed. chrome trim for front grill. chrome headlight ring and misc. other parts. I have the original owners manual and OEM gas caps as well. The rig is in Houston. TX. There is no hard top. but one can be found on craigslist if that is something you are interested in. I only drove the rig in nice weather so I decided not to purchase the hard top as it would likely just sit in the garage and take up space. The car is listed for sale locally and would prefer to sell local. I reserve the right to end the auction early in the event the car sells locally. A $500 non refundable down payment is expected within 2 days of auction close and the sale must be completed within 2 weeks. Please contact me if you are attempting to pay with anything other than cash as that will need to be discussed before I agree to accept payment. I am able to take any specific pictures you may want. just let me know. Thanks for looking.
