2000 Ford Excursion-Dark Green Exterior/Light Grey Interior 4x4. This rig is my daily drive. I have done many modifications to it to make it a great Expedition rig: Front Axle: Dana 60 1 Ton Front Axle from a 2002 Ford F350 Dually. Yukon Hardcore Manual Hubs New Detroit Axle Unit Bearing on the Driver side New Discs and Calipers on the front (Calipers Powder coated Red) New Calipers on the rear (Calipers powder coated Red) Stainless Steel Brake lines all the way around X code Springs from a Ford F350 Super Duty to compensate for the weight of the Bumper and Winch Engine: New Alternator New Alternator Belt New Intake manifold with upgraded Accell Ignition Supercoil packs. New Spark plugs-Recently tuned Dual Yellow Top Batteries New Water Pump New belt tensioners Front: Front Winch Bumper 12. 00lb Warn Winch 34” 180W LED Light Bar CB/CB Antenna CB was peaked and tuned to the CB Antenna by a professional CB shop less than 90 days ago. Bushwhacker Cut Out Pocket Flares 2” Wheel spacers from BORA Offroad to compensate for tires Custom “One Ton” Badging 1-5 Gallon Air tank mounted under driver side door. I have another 5 gal air tank that needs to be mounted as well as the 200psi compressor and hose reel with 100’ hose. Tires: 38” Michelin XMLs There are 5 of them. They are 90% tread or better purchased from Alpha Tire (So you know they are great quality) All 5 Tires are mounted on stock Superduty Steelies and balanced with internal bead packs. I have been running these tires since summer with no complaints. They hold air perfectly and drive just fine wirth no dry rot. Rear: Custom Offroad Bumper Tail Light Brush Protectors Interior: CB as mentioned above. CD Player Air Compressor Switch (Lighted Carling) and air pressure gauge Switch Panel-Custom lighted Carling switches mounted in cab. The “Bull lights” are connected to the light bar on the winch bumper and works as should. There are other switches for “Hood Lights” Zombie Lights” “Roof Lights” “Rear Lights” and “Refrigerator” but with carling switches you can change the faceplates to say whatever you want. All switches in the truck light up blue. The Transmission: I just had the transmission completely rebuilt last month. It has a one year warranty. It was completed by a local transmission GURU! I told him the plan was to pull the 5. 4L motor and swap in a 24 V Cummins and should build the trans accordingly-AND HE DID! He used high performance clutches and swapped all the bearings. valve body and other internals with the steel version used in the Ford diesel trans. The torque converter was upgraded as well and this trans is a monster!!!!! Conclusion: I have described what I have done as best I could. I love this truck and really don’t want to get rid of it. However I am no longer able to do the heavy work due to a medical condition. The rear of this vehicle has been converted for an expedition vehicle. The third row seat has been removed but I have it. The rear carpet and most of the plastics have been pulled out and a plywood base has been laid down. The sink and microwave cabinet have been created but not finished I plan to install this weekend. the two inverters I have are not installed yet either. On Mar-22-15 at 11:16:27 PDT. seller added the following information: **** OK so I threw together the basic interior structures just for the ad. This is generally what I was shooting for with regard to the sink and refrigerator without getting too far into it. The opposite side will be for sleeping quarters and is just bare at this time. The shelf for the microwave didn't fit so I removed it that is why there is no microwave in the pics. Also I mentioned that it has one ton badging and it does but I forgot to mention that the "Excursion" badge on the driver side is missing. The passenger side is pictured.
