2000 Ford Excursion Limited 4x4

It sits in heated storage from Nov- Mar. since being brought to Illinois. The underneath is as clean as the rest of the truck. rust free! As when it was new. All leather interior is original as is all the exterior paint. I purchased the Excursion with 87. 00 miles on it. It now has 106. 00. I am very particular about all my trucks. Right after Purchase I changed all fluids and filters . new shocks . brakes. tires. water pump. thermostats. belt. trans cooler lines and batteries. One year ago I upgraded to 2002 headlights. A 7. 3 Ford in stock form is factory set far below its performance potential. This truck was professionally tuned by a diesel pickup truck mechanic. Hesse Automotive in Calamus. Iowa. He specializes in 7. 3 fords. The Excursion spent 1 week on is dyno for testing and tuning. checking all specs of the diesel engine intake temp. before and after turbo. Fuel pressure. exhaust gas temp. exhaust back pressure. turbo boost. water temp. Stock this Excursion dynode 190 rear wheel Hp. & 450 ft pounds of torque. After tuning with no parts added the engine makes 280 rear wheel Hp & 650 ft pounds of torque. I also have a rust free 2002 F450 with a 7. 3 Hesse Auto tuned this truck using the same tune as the Excursion the 450 pulls a gooseneck trailer regularly grossing 28. 00 lbs. The engine is capable of using 100 % of its power 100% of the time without worry of over heating. over boosting. stressing the trans or overtaxing any other part of the drive line. The most I pull with the Excursion is a 6 x 12 covered trailer weighing approx. 4000 lbs. The Excursion is not tuned as a race truck. It has been tuned to use 100% of its power for pulling. I've put 19. 00 trouble free miles. This truck has been used for vacation travel & occasionally pulling my covered trailer. I have thoroughly enjoyed driving it! With our kids going into college.
