In 1970. Ford touted the F-100 Ranger as a truck that rode like a car. It also inherited a lot of Mustang DNA and quickly became a sport truck before the term was invented. This truck is definately a sport truck. With a 3" lowering kit in the rear and a 4" lowering kit in the front. it will turn heads as you cruise down the street. It's a great stance for this truck. A classic paint job with candy apple red and gloss white look great. The clear coat is beginning to peel on the roof. tailgate. and around the antennae but it is barely noticeable. Chrome and trim are in good shape with a new front bumper and grille. Most of the body is original so you know that it is a good. clean truck. Body is in above average condition. with minimal rust. Underbody and engine compartment have been powder coated and are in good condition. Bed is in great shape and has been upgraded with a diamond plate floor. This diamond plate continues in the cab interior. A major sporty upgrade on the cab rood instrument panel and doors. Racing style upgrade on the steering wheel. A modern sound system with a power booster amp under the seat. A/C upgrade under the dash panel that works well. Black carpets match the black cloth herringbone seat. Doors are tight and side window cranks work well. A new Access Vanish bed cover is also included. Easy to open and get to what you want in the bed. Engine is and early 90's 302 V-8 from a Mustang 5. 0. Has a new Edelbrock 4 barrel carb which was voted the top street performance carb in 2014. Factory manifold has a great mellow sound going into a dual exhaust. Engine was gone through by a certified Ford mechanic in 2014 and gets up and runs great. New front disc brakes are a major upgrade over the old drum style. A new master cylinder and lines complete the system. Stops on a dime. Trans mission is a C4 3 speed automatic. rebuilt in 2013. Shifts great and will get up and go. Front tires are Falken 245/35ZR20 95Y. Back tires are 255/45ZR20 105Y. Both are a street racing tire. Only 5000 miles on these tires. Wide body chrome rims make for a great look. Electrical system was also gone over by certified Ford mechanic in 2013 and all the lights function well.
