1935 Ford pickup. This was a father and son project. my son died in a tornado in April 2014. and I've lost interest. I'm going to try and describe it to you and hopefully you will have a good picture of what's here and what's been done. Chassis frame rails are boxed front and rear. Rear End is Ford 8 in. limited slip. Engine is 1996 5. 0 with over 100. 00 miles. Transmission Ford Automatic overdrive 4R70W; engine and transmission were purchased as a unit out of the same Ford Explorer and come with the original engine and Trans management computer with wiring original harness for that vehicle; Engine mounts are custom built to the frame and need finish welding. Has rear sway bare kit that requites final welding and install. Has aftermarket rear disc brake partially installed. needs finished. Front suspension is mustang II requires completion. has power rack and pinion steering. After market front disc brakes temp installed. Cab is solid except it requires rear lower patch and the left and right rockers need replaced. Obviously the entire pickup will need the surface rust removed repainted. Drivers and passenger doors are solid with no rust thru at bottoms and both doors may have minor cracks that require welding. All window glass is there bot will need replacement. Front window regulator works but is showing it age. Front roll out window frame is all there but need restoring and original seal is deteriorated. Has no seat or steering wheel. Have all original wood and metal floor boards. Front left and right fenders are solid with cracks previously repaired and has the usual surface rust and needs paint. Rear fenders are too far gone. I do not have new one at all. I suggest using fiberglass. Drivers side running board is solid has the typical surface rust and some minor pitting. left running board is mostly solid but has rust thru near the spare tire recess is located and minor pitting. Pickup bed is very ruff. the front floor area is rusted thru from the left to right side as well as the forward bed side is rusted thru at the bottoms where it meets the floor; the left and right bed sides are usable but will require work and I would suggest replacing the stake pockets all the way around; the tail gate is solid and can be reused with some work. I was going to replace the whole bed with a new one from Mac Hills in Missouri. Front and rear bumpers are solid and will need to be rechromed and all the attaching irons are there as well. Four piece hood is solid and needs typical body work and paint; the V8 emblems are there but faded. Radiator shell is solid but has some minor cracks and a few of the lower grill bars have been replaced at one time. it's hard to tell they've been replaced unless you look closely. It has a new front splash apron that goes between the grill and radiator. Radiator is an original flat head V8. I do not know the actual condition of it other than cosmetically it looks to be okay but has some cooling fins that will need straitening; also the radiator mount brackets will require finish welding on the front frame horns. Wheels are new old stock aluminum after market and have never been on the road. the tires are also new old stock and also have never been on the road. but I would not trust them to last as the have been on these wheel foe over 10 years. I'd say they would be good for roller around the shop only. Gas tank is original and will need cleaning inside and out and check for leaks. Have 2 head lights that need work. It does not have the rear tail lights or tail light mount brackets. I believe I've covered most of it from memory please feel free to ask questions.
