1963 Ford Galaxie 500XL BLACK ON BLACK ON BLACK. LASER STRAIGHT PAINT LOOKS LIKE A POOL OF BLACK WATER. CAR WAS BORN A 390 AUTO NOW SPORTS A 1968 428 WITH 2-4’S. 4 SPEED TOP LOADER MANUAL TRANS. THE MOTOR HAS A RV CAM AND RUNS GREAT. It gets about 18 MPG if you keep your foot out of it. If you wanted to make a hot rod all that would be needed is a solid roller cam and this car would run like a bat out of h@#%%. Not that it runs bad now. The exhaust starts with cast iron Ford shorty headers with dual exhaust . Flowmaster mufflers and Laker cut outs. Wheels are Cragar rims. This car is rust free. not an ounce of rust anywhere. I cannot believe how solid and straight this car is. In the 6 years we have owned this car we have won many first place trophies and it turns a lot of heads. The interior is in fantastic condition. almost looks like it is only a couple of years old. Car has the original am radio with a Radio Shack FM converter from back in the day. Pictures do not do this car justice. It is over the top. This was our baby not for sale car until we found a 63 Galaxie 500 convertible that we fell in love with. Can’t afford to keep them both.
