FORD F-150 4x4 SUPERCAB SHORTBED with a 6.5 TURBO DIESEL CONVERSION

This is a 1978 F-150 Ranger XLT. t has a rare 2 tone color combination in Dark/Light Jade Green metallic. It has AC. elay wipers. ilt Wheel. owing mirrors and a Reese hitch. ustom interior. tach. yrometer. oost gauge. opout rear windows and a rear sliding window. It has almost new 33/12. 50-15 BFG Trail TA tires. A lund sunvisor and step boards. ed tarp and plastic bed liner. Also has a Dick Cepek light bar and KC lights but they are not hooked up as per local laws. It had a frame off resto done in 1995 with the frame painted and body painted with PPG Deltron basecoat/clearcoat. Any chrome that needed replaced was as well as all weatherstripping. This was also when the 6. 5 Turbo Diesel drivetrain was installed. The engine was performance built with Total Seal piston rings. eworked heads. arger valves. igh flow injectors and injector pump. It has a 4 inch straight exhaust pipe on it. that sounds good but not too loud. The 700R4 transmission was built with Kevlar clutches. orvette shift servos and a shift kit. ll electronics have been removed as well. The rearends are equipped with 3. 50 gear ratio. It has only had 2299 miles put on it since the resto. I am listing it as TMU mileage because it had a digital speed installed to match the newer drivetrain (no speedo cable). Original speedo had~ 63000 on it. o actual mileage is ~ 66000. It has been garaged for the last 25 years. It is missing the front fuel tank.
