1961 Ford Galaxie 352 A/T Very Original Car

You are looking at very clean 1961 Galaxie with 85000 original miles. This car has been garage kept and I know it's cliché but the original owner until the mid-2000's was that little old lady we've all heard about. this thing has no rust issues what so ever (see pictures). Comes with the original purchase order. receipts. and warranty from the original dealership sale in 1961. The current owner is the second owner outside the original family. This is a great driver and head turner. just hit the key and go! The interior of this car is completely original right down to the original stock floor mats. The seats have minimal wear and there are a couple places the seams split but the damage has been professionally addressed and further damage appears to have been stopped. and for the last three years has not deteriorated (see pictures). The car has never been wrecked other than two small side glances. one in the right rear door and one in the left front fender (See pictures). both areas pushed out easily and there was very minimal filler used. She was stripped down to reveal NO BODY RUST at all and the exterior now wears four coats of beautiful white paint and looks better than when she rolled out in 1961. The original 352 engine was removed and freshened up (Did not need boring so it's std bore and the crank only needed a polish so it is std as well) rebuilt original heads with hardened seats installed. (Just a note. this is the last year of the CCV engines prior to the PCV design) The transmission has been replaced with a genuine FORD NOS NEW MX transmission. The power steering ram. control head. and hoses were also replaced with genuine NOS FORD parts. Complete brakes and all wheel bearings & seals were replaced last year. The remainder of the under carriage appears to be original. The dash pad does have a crack in it near the speaker. The windshield has a crack and does leak around the gasket. the current owner does not drive the car in the rain and feared if he had a new windshield put in the beautiful original headliner could be damaged. The radio still works but the clock and the washer pump do not. The bumpers are original with minor pitting. the body stainless is beautiful. This thing still has the original spare tire and jack. New Appliance wheels sure dress this old girl up and it has great tires that make this one fun ride. load up your girl and a cooler and take a cruise. The current owner is a collector restorer and felt that since this car had been so well cared for all those years that it deserved to be preserved.
