2005 Ford Mustang - SHELBY GT 500 SUPER SNAKE CONVERTIBLE -Clone

2005 FORD MUSTANG SHELBY GT 500 SUPER SNAKE CONVERTIBLE ****This Pristine. Virtually Showroom Condition Car is a pampered Mustang GT Premium upgraded with all New OEM Carroll Shelby Super Snake additions to the appearance of the infamous Super Snake convertible. Much thought. effort. detail. and expense has been invested to capture the appearance of the Super Snake. Get the same look and feeling of owning a Super Snake for less money and less insurance expense. This car is mechanically 100% untouched original except for a Ford Racing Cold Air Intake System. If you decided to add a supercharger; you would have the looks and power for much less. This car has never been abused. No smoking. no eating food inside. never driven hard. The tires have never even been "barked" and the car has only been caught in the rain once for about 15 minutes (top up of course); otherwise it sits in the climate controlled garage. I'm in my 50's and the looks are what I wanted. but it is plenty powerful as it is. This car has as much power as the Shelby's in the 60's. The power you can generate is today is insane and my speculation will somehow become regulated as people are buying these supercars and totaling them 45 minutes after leaving the dealership because they are too much to handle for the everyday driver. I have a healthy respect for life and have no need to go there personally. The top has only been down very few times and it still looks like brand new - no fading. no rips. no ragged edges or rubber seals. The top has only been wet a few times because I typically just wipe the dust off of it with a damp microfiber towel when rinsing the dust off the paint not to scratch the paint when keeping it clean. If you haven't noticed in the pictures; it has really large high performance Shelby wheels and tires - 315's on the rear and 275's on the front. I did have the Alcoa Super Snake wheels on this car for about a year with 235's on the front and 255's on the rear. I originally hoped to buy a Super Snake Convertible. I studied the Super Snake closely and was trying to justify why I would be willing crack into my retirement savings to pay so much for one and not drive it much as a garage car. I couldn't justify the difference. so I thought I would enjoy driving a GT every day. I found this one and it was so well preserved and clean; I decided to invest the money for Shelby parts to get the Super Snake appearance. I planned to drive this everyday and may still should but I drive an SUV so I can pull a boat and not worry about everyday casualties. This car is so clean and unscathed I haven't been able to bring myself to drive it much because "life" happens to everyday drivers like car doors. market baskets. tree sap. acid rain stains. and etc. I guess if I drove it and it got dings and etc I would get over it. but it is pretty incredibly clean and all the Shelby Super Snake add-ons are brand new. The paint finish is terrific. nothing is perfect. but it would hold its' own next to a new one. I love looking at the car in the garage. but it is taking up valuable space and I simply don't drive it enough for it to sit there forever. I now have a boat competing for it's space. It is unbelievable how this car still looks new inside. outside. under the hood. and the under carriage. It has not been detailed by a professional to be made to look clean. It is simply day in. day out. always been this naturally clean.
