Tilt Wheel SELLER REMARKS Now that trucks have earned a spot in collector's hearts. you're going to find some pretty nice haulers on the market. Few will be as well-finished as this rather rare 1967 GMC C10. which offers a lot of fresh work. a great-running small block crate motor. and timeless good looks. The body was completely refinished not too long ago. although thanks to its excellent care over the past 36 years. it appears to have been a pretty easy job. The regular cab/long bed proportions are fantastic in the GMC guise but that also means it had to be straight to look its best. The paint is two-stage urethane. and the medium blue finish seems to glow in the sun. Panels fit together very nicely and every detail has been adjusted to make this one of the tightest trucks we've ever seen. Note the clean tailgate with its subtle red 'GMC' lettering. which gives it a very trick. custom look. and the fact that it's still wearing all its factory trim means that it will never go out of style. Fresh bumpers add a little flash to the front and rear. accentuating the old-school look without distracting from the clean shape. The bed is in excellent condition and currently protected by a rubber mat and a tonneau cover that makes it a dry place to stow your gear. The black leather bench seat interior definitely sports some upgrades. taking this heavy hauler to a whole new level. The front bench seat is in excellent condition with new springs underneath and leather seat covers on top. and the simple door panels are just as nicely done. Original gauges look decent with only a bit of fading on the speedometer needle and they all work properly. which is always nice. A modern tilt steering column is fitted with a period GMC steering wheel and you'll note that the automatic shifter now has four an Overdrive position in addition to the other three gears. A custom Retro Sound system uses an AM/FM head unit (with remote) feeding speakers in the kick panels. and a very effective Vintage Air A/C system chills the cabin easily. Black carpets are a nice upgrade from what were surely an original set of rubber mats and much of the weather-stripping appears to have been replaced not too long ago. The engine is a fresh crate 350 that fits like it was born there thanks to the magic of the small block V8. It has a no-nonsense OEM look with black painted valve covers and block and the accessories stacked way up high. but with 350 horsepower on tap. it'll outrun any factory-issued powerplant of the era. Note all the new hardware. hoses. clamps. and wiring used throughout; there's almost nothing under the hood that hasn't been freshened. A custom dual exhaust system with glasspack-style mufflers was fabricated. and it certainly appears that this truck has led a good life. since it is clean and tidy underneath with simple satin black paint on most of the components. A 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission and heavy-duty 10-bolt rear end offer a great combination of around-town performance and highway comfort and the stock-style suspension actually rides pretty well for a pickup truck. It rolls on a set of beautiful 17-inch Boyd's aluminum rims with 235/60/17 tires that gives it a sporty attitude. The day is fast approaching when pickup trucks of all shapes and sizes become Grade-A collectables. and the early C/K pickups will surely be at the head of the list.
