Description |

This Suburban came from Arkansas so it is missing the usual rust you see on these trucks. The worst rust was the surface rust on the frame rails; I carefully cleaned them, ainted them with POR-15, nd sprayed the entire bottom of the truck with Waxoyl to preserve it. There is absolutely no rust perforation on this vehicle.
This truck has been my family vacation vehicle and as such I maintain it to a high standard as I do not want to have any troubles while I am traveling. In August we took it on a 3,000 mile road trip to North Carolina and the truck performed flawlessly including one day where we drove 1,100 miles in 18 hours. My best tank was 20mpg.
As I said I maintain this truck to a high standard, ere is some of the service since this summer:
141,928 - Changed oil and filter (Mobil 1 5w-30); replaced 4x4 switch.
141,997 - Replaced front and rear diff fluid, reased front end, eplace rear brake cylinders, lushed brake fluid, eplaced transfer case fluid, eplaced transmission fluid and filter.
142,073 - New shocks front and rear (Gabriel Ultra)
142,846 - Replaced o2 sensors (2x upstream and 2x downstream), eplaced spark plugs and wires, ew fuel filter.
143,317 - New tires (Yokohama Geolander) and 4 wheel alignment.
144,600 - Changed oil and filter (Mobil 1 5w-30)
147,137 - Replaced upper air distribution box, lower switch, nd transmission selector cable
147,332 - Replaced thermostat, adiator hoses, an clutch, dler pulley, nd belt tensioner.
148,357 - Changed oil and filter (Mobil 1 5w-30)
148,630 - Replaced front HVAC blower motor
149,459 - New fuel pump (AC Delco) and fuel filter
149,695 - New heater valve, eater hoses, nd tees (replaced plastic tees with brass)
150,147 - Replaced rear shocks with AC Delco air shocks (eliminated rear end sag)
This truck has the AutoTrak 4x4 system where you can select 2wd Hi, wd Hi, wd Lo, r Auto 4wd. The system works perfectly and has no issues.
The stock stereo is in place and works. The stereo has a CD player and I added a bluetooth-in so I could listen to music on my phone. There are custom cut Hexomat floor liners for the first row seats, nd row seats, 3rd row seats, nd the cargo area.
This Suburban is in very good condition. My neighbor is a mechanic at the Chevy dealer and he says it has been a long time since he's seen one of this vintage that is this clean. The truck starts, tops, uns and drives very well. The front and rear AC and heat both work perfectly.
To my knowledge, he only thing that does not work is the driver's seat heater; the passenger seat heater works fine. The driver's seat is worn on the bottom. You can get a replacement cover from eBay for about $200 but I prefer leather that has a nice patina.
The truck comes with a large quantity of spare parts. I just installed a set of brand new snow tires mounted on a set of Chevy rims; I will include the Yokohama highway tires with less than 10k miles in the sale.
There is a 12,000 pound winch (never used) mounted to a Warn Trans4mer mount.
I have a clean/clear title in my possession.
This SUV is sold as-is and where-is. Please ask any questions before bidding.
As the vehicle is listed for sale locally I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
