It was leased by Iron Mountain to do document transportation only. The van has not been used for heavy work to any extent. It has low mileage at 122k and has been maintained properly. It's easy to drive. has good power. is tooled up with nice racks. and even has rear air/heat. There's hard board flooring with e-track on the floor and walls both. along with the insulation package. The van is straight. and serviced. ready to drive anywhere. exterior The paint and body on this van are in good shape. It looks original except the hood which had some flyaway GM paint on it that we went over after purchase. There's no dents or obvious damage. It's not brand new. but definitely very well kept and looks clean as most California vehicles do. Obviously there is no rust. Carfax shows no accidents. The van has pretty good tires all the way around. They put these same Goodyears on all the Budget box vans and we always notice this occasional little steering wheel wobble at very low speeds. but it's almost imperceptible. we just like to disclose everything. The windshield is free of cracks. doors all open and close fine. and it has a new roof rack up top. The Duramax emblem is missing from the drivers door. The van has a couple very small nicks. and light decal fade. The doors in the back have Babco locks for added security and are self locking. I'm sure these can be disengaged if needed. The left rear wheel is a little worse for the wear. but does not affect functionality. We've documented the van very carefully in the photos. nice looking rig. interior The interior is right on as well. It's clean and tidy up front. doesn't smell like smoke. There's no rips in the upholstery. everything works. just really very little to complain about beyond slight use wear. The cargo space is clean as well. It has rear climate control with a custom cage to cover it. This van is insulated and has e-track in the floor and side panels for tie-downs. We installed the shelves. they look nice and are well fitted. Cruise control is available for this van simply by fitting a factory switch. If you want cruise. figure $250 installed. mechanical This van runs great and came in that way. The batteries have good voltage and it fires easy even when below freezing. The motor runs smooth and it's quiet. There's zero leaks. van is bone dry as so many Duramaxes are. These aren't leaky motors generally. We changed the oil. filter. and did front brakes. The drive belt and rear brakes are good. trans seems to shift fine and the fluid isn't burnt. The van has very slight play in one of the outer tie-rods. but it's hardly there. The ball joints are tight. GM vans don't go through them like Fords do. The right rear tire is slightly more worn that the others. but still has decent tread. This comes from all the diesel torque and not rotating the tires religiously. The van has low mileage. you'll get many many years of service from this thing to come. comments This is a neat van and a good buy. we're not sure how some of the big guys charge so much for these.
