Here is a short background on this Safari. It is in great shape and has never been in an accident. All original with body panel stickers from the factory still affixed to each panel. It currently has 74. 00 miles and growing slowly. It is RWD. 8 passenger bench setup with rear A/C and Dutch Doors with window. Every option works as it is supposed to. There is one small area of dings that I have no idea where they came from on the driver side above the fuel door. You can't see them from 10 feet away. The Safari is rust free and does have a factory tow package. In 2003. GM upgraded the chassis of both the Astro and Safari with certain suspension components. larger brakes. and six-lug. 16 inch wheels from the full-size Chevrolet and GMC half-ton pickup trucks. just in case you didn't know. An excellent year to own. We are the fourth owners of this van. The previous owner was older and just couldn’t get up into the driver’s seat any more. We purchased the van to complete some projects for our parents and figured it would just be easier to purchase one instead of renting long term. My wife and I got to enjoy driving a full size conversion van recently and we are considering buying one for our growing family. hence we are selling this fine Safari. All keys and factory remotes with new batteries are included. What needs to be replaced - Two things in my opinion. 1- The infamous drivers side armrest is cracked and we put a piece of "fake leather" over it so the cracked armrest would not scratch our arm 2. I feel the shocks should be replaced in the near future. The van drives straight and true cruising. accelerating. or braking. Whats new- Rear brakes and rotors are new within the last 1000 miles. Front Brakes and Rotors within the last 2500 miles. New front Hubs when brakes were done. The tires have another 1/2 of their life left. I have included the most common angles of the van.
