Description

Please note that 50% will be automatically donated to St Jude Children's Research Hospital. This is a great cause. so bid with this in mind. 1998 Honda Accord EX with 233k miles. V6. leather. moonroof. This car has some great points but also is 17 years old with 233k miles and will need the typical attention of a car of its age. I tried to capture the good and improvement-needed points below. Car is insured and registered. so test drives are welcome. The good points- The interior is in great condition. The pictures tell the story well. Carpets and leather are clean and nice. The only exception is under the rear mat. which can't be seen without looking under it. - New battery- Sunroof- V6- Alloy wheels and other things expected in an EX model- I think that I replaced the spark plugs and wires not too long ago. Improvement needed- Typical paint fading. peeling. scratches. dents. One dent on the roof is captured in a picture. - AC stopped working- Passenger side signal light has a crack as shown in a picture. - Transmission flares on changes between first and second gear. but all others are fine. - Timing belt was last changed around 120-130k miles- Some of the brakes were changed. but the rotors became rusty when I let the car sit because I didn't want to put any more miles on the timing belt and got too lazy to change it. - There is grinding noise when the car is driving. which is suspect is the rotors. It changes as the car turns. Trade proposals are welcome. but I do not guarantee that I will be interested. ffers to sell the car will be ignored. If you want the car. bid on it. I sold a car on ebay once and several rude people tried to make me take the car off of eBay for less than I sold it for in the auction. I am stupid. but will not fall for that. CASH on pickup of car preferred as long as the donation to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital can still be easily worked out. Note: the vehicle history check says 3 owners but there are actually only 2. I know the original owners and they bought the car and then moved from DE to NJ. I think that is what is interpreted as a change of ownership. but it isn't. I am the second owner.
