Description

Car for sale is a 1998 Honda Prelude SH. it has a 5-Speed Manual Transmission and just over 194k Miles on it. This car is 100% Stock with absolutely zero modifications. just as it would appear on a showroom floor. The inspection was done in June of 2014. so it is good in New Jersey until June of 2016. The title is completely clean. no salvage. no odometer problems. I've owned the car for about five years. it was used as a daily driver for three and a half years. and then as a weekend car for the last year and a half. I am the second owner of the vehicle. third if you count the dealer I purchased it from. I have the full maintenance records for the entire time I had the vehicle. All work was professionally done at a local Honda Certified Mechanic minus a few basic things I did myself. (Oil changes. etc). The receipts I have alone total close to my asking price. The price is negotiable. but it is fair for all the mechanical work that was done to keep it in great condition. Mechanically the car is in top shape. The body / paint has signs of wear; the clearcoat is starting to fade on the wing only. There is a dent in the front fender. and a small scratch in the rear bumper. Many of the major repair work that often is needed on a car with this mileage has already been done - timing belt was changed just before I got it. it received regular tune ups and oil changes. the starter. battery. and catalytic converter were replaced. The ATTS system had a problem with the oil pressure sensors wearing out - I had both replaced along with the temp sensor with all Honda Certified parts - that job alone cost well over $1. 00. All four of the front ball joints were replaced. Parts used were always Honda Certified (when available). There was a recall for an ignition problem in the early 2000s; it was experiencing the same problem when I got the car. and I had it fixed with a new ignition to resolve the issue. I have all receipts to show how much was put into this car. Please ask any questions you may have; I would be more then willing to answer any and all to the best of my ability to instill confidence in a buyer. Pending an accepted offer. I would be willing to have the car inspected locally. with the report sent directly to the buyer from a Honda Certified shop that would perform the inspection. Accepting all reasonable offers.
