2006 Honda S2000 Roadster2. 2 Liter VTEC I-4 Engine and 6-speed Manual TransmissionAdult Driven Non-Smoker with only 69. 23 miles!!I had purchased this vehicle with every intent of keeping it. I had always wanted to own one of these works of art for myself and the moment presented itself to me. This example is the one I needed since it was bone stock and unmolested or modified in any way. not even a cold air intake has been installed. they are a joy to drive and it always puts a smile on my face when I drive it. I had big plans of adding a hardtop and powder coating the wheels in gold and replace the missing side strake on the drivers side and adding the cold-air intake etc. but I only got around to replacing the rear 2 tires the fronts were like new. I had the lower front spoiler lip refinished so it looks like new and I had the entire car checked over to see if it was mechanically sound and sure enough it was and with no leaks and a smooth shifting transmission with no issues. I had the oil and filter changed 30 miles ago and it is ready for it's lucky new owner. Everything is in working order. This car looks amazing and it turns a lot of heads! It is Suzuka Blue with Blue Leather and Black Top. It has factory optional rear spoiler. side strakes (well one on the passenger side anyways) an iPod Interface in center console and the windows are tinted. If you know what an S2000 is then you know it is equipped with a very cool red push button start located left of the steering wheel a very cool factor if you ask me :) also these were built for enthusiasts with no frills and luxuries so to keep you focused on what this car was built for. Performance!! The radio is hidden behind a panel so to not be distracted and they conveniently located remote radio controls on the dash left of the steering wheel as well for easy access. The steering wheel is leather wrapped and shaped to give you the race car feel. The shifter is short and made of alloy and leather and is a beauty as well. Extra speakers are located behind the driver and passengers headrest so you can still hear the music with the top down. The high back racing style seats remind you to have fun and fun you will have I promise you. Then why do I want to sell it. you ask? My oldest daughter just recently got engaged (yes. I am that old) and my wife is making me a nervous wreck with all the plans they are making in preparations for the wedding that I will be paying for soon and it is scaring me to death. So this must go before my other collector cars and therefore I am selling it to the highest bidder. Now for the details. when it was new the owner had the invisible bra film added to the front end and on the mirrors to preserve the paint but it was looking aged and dull so I removed it but it left an imperfection on the paint (see pics) that I have not been able to remove with a clay bar but maybe another product could remove it? I am not sure if it is in-bedded in the clear coat or not but it's actually not that bad only noticeable at closer inspection. The good news is there are no rock chips or dings where the film was applied however there are a few rock chips higher up on the fender and one on the hood that I had touched up. There are a couple minor scratches here and there not bad at all and not noticeable till closer inspection. The interior is in above average condition and would be excellent if not for the tear in the passenger seat and the typical wear on the drivers bolster but the seats are in the same form as they were new meaning they are not deformed in anyway due to a heavier driver etc. The biggest issue is the original top which is showing it's age like your typical shine in the areas where it is worn from use over the years. The top does not leak but there is 2 prior patches and one small tear in need of a patch. I thought about replacing it but I had visions of a hard top instead. The under side looks like new with no signs of leaks etc. I was actually impressed with the care it has been under for it's age. It has spent it's whole life within about a 200 mile radius of where I am located. This is a very sound car and it should make the new owner very happy. It has a clean Carfax and the original owners manual but only one set of keys and remote entry fob comes with it. I have a clean and lien free title in hand. No prior accidents and I am the third owner. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I have the reserve set at $$THOUSANDS$$ below Kelly Blue Book and/or NADA retail values for a quick and easy sale so good luck and Happy Bidding!! :)
