1983 Honda Civic VINTAGE All Stock 2 Owner 45,854 Miles Malibu Barn Find 77 PIX

This is a beautiful 1983 Honda Civic 1500 DX.It's all original, ll stock & is smoke/pet free.I'm the 2nd owner & have had her for 3 years.The 1st owner was in the entertainment industry & passed away.This car was kept in her Malibu, alifornia condominium garage.When I got this Civic she hadn't been driven in 5.5 years, ad a full gas tank & the battery was being charged on a charger.I flat bed towed her home & attempted to siphon the gas out of the tank.Due to the anti-siphon system I couldn't get a hose in the tank soI momentarily thought of draining the tank byremoving the drain plug on the bottom.I didn't want to deal with the mess of gas everywhereso I cross my fingers & cranked her over.After 30-40 seconds her started! She passed smog that week!I've enjoyed this car for 3 years & driven her 2,700 miles.She's been a hit at local car shows, he annualQueen Mary Japanese Classic Car Show & just driving around town.You can see my poster I made for Car Shows in the pix below!I have the original bill of sale from Bill Krause Honda dated 11 JAN 1983!I also have the original Window Sticker, wners Manual, arranty Manual, tc.The good:Only 45,854 all original miles!Clean/clear California title in my name with my address.Currently registered & insured.Passes California smog every time.I drive this car frequently. 10 miles round trip to work.To the beach, hopping, oy Scout events, verywhere!You can even fold down the rear seats & get a bicycle in the back!She's reliable, un, rives & stops straight, as a great sounding radio, anual windows that won't break, o complicated navi system, rand new 3 week old battery, ood tires & gets thumbs up all the time!I've even come out to the parking only to catch folks taking pix of my car!The car has the following optional equipment:Cruise Control!$85 Digital Clock$85 Right Hand Mirror$125 Tonneau Cover$150 Thermo-Guard$175 AM/FM 1-Speaker Radio$185 Full Spare Wheel & Tire$675 Factory Air ConditioningThe bad:The fan works but the air conditioning does not blow cold air.The brake master cylinder is leaking some brake fluid.I refill it once every 4-8 weeks.The air intake hose leading to the air filter is cracked (see picture).The front right fender is missing the chrome molding.(I never realized this until I took pix for this auction!)Rear windshield wiper blade needs replacing.There are minor scratches, ings, tc., n the car. Insurance is cheap & it's simply a joy to drive.The 1-speaker push button radio sounds awesome!It handles great and uses very little gas.I've lowered the reserve!It was on eBay & ended 15 JUL but didn't hit the reserve so I've lowered it!The reserve is based on recent sales of similar Honda Civics.Resources included eBay & various blogs & forums.The reserve is private.
