The 6.2 engine was taken out and a 6.6 engine out of an Army hummer was installed. While it was at the mechanic shop someone broke in and tried to steal it and messed up the column so the mechanic put in a chrome, ilt wheel without a cruise button. He also installed toggle switches for the glow plugs, id a push button starter and installed an electric fuel pump that is operated with a toggle switch. I think the electric fuel pump is somehow getting air in with the diesel and is causing the truck to stop running. You can bleed the air out at the fuel filter and then it will run. The mechanic put in all new brakes: master cylinder, ines, isc, heel cylinders. Extremely cold air, uns 40 degrees in Memphis. Completely new AC system. New batteries. Truck is not running because the starter is off and the bolts are stripped. I am tired of working on it. It does have electric windows with new electric motors. All 4 tires match and it is a smooth ride. The front end has been rebuilt. I have owned it for 10 years and it has been a great truck. I am getting too old to work on it.
