1998 Honda Civic DX 4 Door Sedan

1998 Honda Civic 4 door sedan DX - 124K miles – Blue w/ Grey Fabric Interior– Automatic with air bags and 60/40 split fold down rear seat

Runs great, tarts right up, nd will be your ultra-reliable gas friendly transportation. Great gas mileage!

Car is rock-sold, s basic a transportation as you can get, hich is exactly why I bought it! Old school hand crank windows never have electrical issues, o power seats, ot even AC. Just good ol’ Honda reliability. Cheap to own, heap to drive, heap to insure, ill last forever with oil changes. These Civics are expected to last 300K miles. If you need a low mileage work horse of a car, his is it. It was my work car and used it for my sales job. I have cared for it with the intention of keeping it forever, ut my situation has changed.

Maintenance:

Timing belt and water pump was done at 98K by All Tune and Lube in Santa Clara

Installed new radiator, oses and thermostat in October 2015. Original developed slow leak around neck. Work performed by Issac at Goodyear on Water street.

New front brake pads installed in summer 2015.

Includes Chilton manual, ew rear brake shoes in box, nd a roll of new grey headliner material. I have not got around to doing the headliner yet.

Disclosure things to be aware of

Exterior:

Car paint appears to have been repaired or repainted at some point, ut I cannot tell exactly where it begins and ends

Minor damage to front bumper. Paint not perfect in several spots, nd there is a square trailer hitch imprint with light scuffing See pictures. Hood and grille are fine. Airbags did not deploy. I checked online to see if airbag recall applies to this car… it does not, o I did not worry about it

Front lower air dam paint on plastic is worn. It scrapes in steep driveways or high curb stops. Bay Area has a lot of those and it shows

Right front tire plastic inner fender has rub wear

Car paint was repaired before I bought it. Minor scratches visible under paint upon close inspection left hand side behind front turn signal

Washer fluid pump not working. Haven’t had time to look into it. I just wash it when I put gas in it.

Drivers’ side mirror currently missing, ut replacement has been ordered and will be included. Original was just hanging down one day like someone leaned on it

Small rock chip in windshield glass

2 rock chips in paint on hood

Interior:

Starting in back right seat going clockwise:

Right rear seat has imprint wear. Fabric is also worn a bit below seat area. My guess is previous owner had a car seat or something strapped in back there. The back of the passenger seat has 2 tears from whatever was in back seat.

Right rear door by door lock knob, ouge in vinyl

There is a light stain in the center seat belt

Left rear door has very small 1” crack in plastic near window crank 1 o’clock position

Driver seat has small ½” tear in left lumbar support

Ashtray is missing. No smoking smell

Center console cup holder door does not latch closed

2 little center console pug/tabs are missing by e-brake, nd there is a crack in top between seats.

Some light but visible scratches in glove box door

Small dent in front passenger inside door trim off window crank 10 o’clock

Trunk particle board intact but seen better days… fabric in ok condition

Has spare and tool kit. Tires are good. Front two match and are close to new. Rear 2 match, bout 50% life left

Headliner fabric has let go, ence why I have a new roll in the plastic, nd am including it
