Description

Selling a 2000 Honda Civic DX hatchback. This car has some modifications done to it. The car began life as a normal hatchback. I put a similar mileage D16Y8 SOHC VTEC engine in this car out of a Civic EX. Complete swap, ith transmission, arness and all. It is ran by a chipped OBD1 ECU on Crome, ith a step down harness. I turbo'd the engine with a T3 50 trim kit with external wastegate. The car also has solid motor/transmission mounts, 6 puck clutch, djustable coilover sleeves, 96 GSR wheels with good tires, ing in the back, TR style lip and grille up front. It also has a boost gauge as well as an AEM UEGO wideband O2 gauge. Gauge cluster does have a tach from the EX. This Civic also has some supporting mods, uch as a 3" exhaust with Magnaflow muffler, allman manual boost controller, 2000 injectors, EM fuel rail, EM regulator and Walbro 255lph fuel pump. Distributor and spark plugs are new. The engine pic is with the blow off valve out. It received new O rings. All is well.
The car runs well, ut with the weather dropping so aggressively, t can use a retune/map cleanup. This car does need little bit of love. Some of the things that need attention include the driver door lock (it's in the car, ut needs to be put onto the door. Original door handle broke one day. Had a friend swap it with another handle, ut lock wasn't done for whatever reason), indshield has a nice line through it and needs to be replaced (they are ~$140 to $150), nd I would raise the car a little bit, ecause it sits very low. Everything else is very minor.
This car has a rebuilt NJ title, ue to a nice sized gash on the left rear quarter panel. I had it professionally repaired, hen took the car to inspection. Paint on the left side isn't perfect (but not as bad as the one picture shows, ue to lighting). There's no rust on the quarters.
This car is sold as-is. Come check it out. I do not have the car registered/insured, o if you need to see it run or drive it, t would have to be very local, s I don't have plates on it.
For an EK Civic, his car is pretty clean, nd fairly low mileage.
Sale isn't limited to locals. Can have this car transported. I do have friends in the transport business that can get good prices for transporting the car anywhere in the country. Message me with your city and zip, nd I can get a rough estimate. Shipping is to be paid by buyer.
If you have any questions, eel free to ask. Title in hand, eady to go! Happy bidding.
