Honda Element EX All Wheel Drive AWD 2003

This auction is for a 2003 Honda Element EX with All Wheel Drive.It currently has 191,739 miles on it and is being sold AS IS with NO WARRANTY of any sort.This vehicle has served my family and myself very well for almost 13 years now. The only reason I'm putting it up for auction is because I recently "upgraded" to a 2006 version of the same exact car because I've loved driving it so much.
The car runs and drives great. Seriously. I have kept it in as best mechanical shape as possible. It has always been run with full synthetic oil since its initial oil change. It starts immediately with no issue (its a honda, hese engines don't die). The transmission was replaced with a rebuilt one at around 130,000 miles in 2013. The starter and ECU were replaced as well about two years prior. The power steering works great. The AWD system is robust and works perfectly come winter snow or summer mud. The air conditioning was charged this past summer and works with no issue. The heater core was replaced in 2013 as well and it too works beautifully.The interior is obviously used after 13 years of driving but not damaged in any way. I've used this car as a daily driver but it has always had seat covers since day one (included with the car). The Honda Element has been designed with being as dirt resistant and easy to clean as possible. you can literally take the mats and carpet rug out and wash it down with a garden hose. The car has almost brand new (8 months old) Yokohoma All Terrain Tires.
That all being said, his is going to be as honest as possible listing. This is a car that has a lot of miles on it. Any car, ncluding this one for sale, cratching the 200,000 mile ceiling is to be expected to have the following: scratches, aint chips, urface rust on the underside, tc. The worst physical damage is the clear coat peeling on the hood and a larger scratch or two.Mechanically speaking the car is sound but the Check Engine light is ON. It has a rusted exhaust pipe from the catalytic converter to the tail pip, hich has caused the oxygen sensor to burn out and therefore activate the check engine light. This will require repair before its inspection runs out.At some point the Airbag sensor light has come on which may indicate an airbag failure. This will not fail a state inspection but for safety reasons should be repaired.
This is a perfect car for anyone needing a used daily driver on a budget. Its great for hauling any sort of cargo as the rear seats fold up AND can be fully removed. It runs and drives great and will last many more years. Thanks for viewing!
