I have a very clean 2011 Honda Fit Sport for sale with only 36,669 miles (as of the posting of this ad). I purchased the car about 2 years ago and put an OEM Honda front bumper cover on it along with OE style aftermarket fog lights from Keystone, and a few plastic shields under the front bumper. A few days ago I came into the driveway a little hot and bottomed out the left side of the front bumper and damaged the paint (see picture). Would probably be about $250 to have the bumper fixed and painted but I'm not worried about it. I recently obtained the carfax on this vehicle and it shows that there has been airbag deployment in the past but no insurance information is available and there is no mention of any structural damage on the carfax report either. I am assuming that the previous owner had a collision that was not covered. There is a recall on the drivers side airbag from Honda (as there is with just about every Honda right now). I have lowered the price significantly to $8500 for this car as a result. There are no signs of structural damage or repair to any structural parts of the car. It recently took an alignment with no issues and goes straight down the road.
I was planning on loaning/giving/selling it to a family member that always seems to be in need of a helping hand. I've decided he doesn't deserve my help anymore so instead of paying insurance on it every month I'm just going to sell it.
I have a clean and clear Maryland Title for it in my name and it's got a Maryland temporary tag on it. If Maryland inspection is needed I can assist and will pay for the inspection (dependent upon sale price) at a Maryland Certified garage close by.
I live in Maryland about 20 minutes from Middletown, DE and can meet with the car if you wish to see it in Middletown or anywhere else within 20 minutes of my house.
Please feel free to make an offer, I am asking $8,500.00 but willing to negotiate. I may even take it to Carmax and see what the'll give me for it, who knows. NADA for this car is over $12,000.00.
