Stock tenth generation Civic with six speed manual and 48k miles!
New tires. I ordered new plastic hubcaps identical to the ones you see on the car in the pics which are starting to show wear and, well, there not terribly expensive to replace. I'll include both sets.
New air filter and full synthetic oil/filter.
I used this car as a courier to deliver small packages which is why the crazy miles which are about 97% highway. I drove my last Civic 229k miles in three years before selling and had no repairs! This current one is the sixth or so Honda Civic I've owned over the last 20 years and the new tenth generation is most like the Civics of the early 90's to me, lots of character, they just feel right to drive. I get 40-44 mpg on the hwy...
There is a very small blemish on the rear bumper from rub rash with a bike carrier (should have installed a hitch). Some very small amount of imperfections to the paint on the front bumper as pictured normal for the miles. I had a 3M vinyl wrap on the hood and chrome grill up until recently so those areas are essentially flawless.
My last Civic was a 2012 and this one is comparatively very different. Quieter at speed, roomier, faster, better handling, interior materials greatly improved just as every review says! Larger, wider tires are a little better over rough road despite firmer suspension. I'm afraid I don't have so much of a description as a review because the car has so little history.
I have a hitch that I bought for the last Civic that I never installed that I will include for $80 if you're interested. The same hitch fits all late model Civics btw. It's in the original box. They are $150 new.
Just so we're clear, a lot of people write 'runs good' which means nothing as technically, good is entirely subjective. I will state this clearly especially for those who may have to travel to look at it; There is no mechanical issues of any kind. No shaking, vibrations, noises, alignment issues. The car does not burn oil, squeak, or have any flaws outside of very minor paint nicks and other light scuffing here and there comparable to most cars that are less than a year old.
For sale locally. Vehicle is in perfect running order but still, it's AS-IS. The basic warranty has expired because of miles though there is a power train warranty that I think is transferable. There is a lien on it as I list it today that may or may not be paid off by the time I sell. If not, we will transfer title at a branch of First CommonWealth bank where I have the loan. So we will do the transfer at one of their Pittsburgh locations for your peace of mind. Any questions, feel very free to ask.
