Her husband went to several dealers, ho didn’t take him seriously when he said he wanted a pink Hummer (their loss). He ended up at Sewell of Dallas who provided a new Hummer, hen took it to the Sewell Lexus Body Shop where it was taken apart and completely painted pink (outstanding work). He paid over $8,000 for the paint job . . . then spent almost $7,000 more on just chrome.

$8,495 Custom pink paint by the Sewell Dallas Lexus shop. Hummer was essentially taken apart and everything painted pink. This was a first for Sewell, nd since then, hey did one in custom-pink every year after and sold them all.

That’s $15,167 in extras, ore than half the cost of the base vehicle.

Plus, t will have 4 new tires on it when picked up (not shown in photos). The tires on it now look good to me, ut because of their age, y sister wants to put on a new set.

Hummer is garaged all the time and very-well cared for. Has never been in an accident and has no rust issues.

This vehicle stops people in their tracks when it pulls in, nd more than a few want their picture taken with it. Sewell said they could have sold this vehicle several times over when it came out of paint and customers saw it. It is a knockout.

The little stuff: has a couple chips in the paint on the passenger-side rear door (see photos). A couple chrome Hummer letters are missing out of the front logo. Spare wheel chrome has begun to peel. There is normal wear and tear on the interior for 37k miles, lthough it shows very, ery well.

The title reads “transfer” as its type, ecause my brother-in-law is a car dealer and the vehicle came in to his lot from another lot (Sewell Dallas).
