63' RatRod Chevy Pick-up, lowered, V8 327, A/T, and Trailing Arm Suspension

You are looking at a head turning Rat Rod 1963 Chevrolet C10 Patina Shop truck Short Bed. The engine is a SBC 327 V8, hich has been tuned up and is a strong runner. New oil, ewer battery, hrome 100 amp alternator, ew HEI Distributor with plug wires, resh rebuilt 2 barrel Rochester carburetor with chrome air cleaner. New Headers, ots of chrome. The 350 Automatic trans with column selector shifts well through all gears. A Perfect Bike hauler!!!

This half ton truck sits on 15” Coker Wide White Wall Tires with Gold powder coated 6 lug Steelies and drum breaks in the front, lug and drum in the rear. A lowered ride with LJ Wrangler lowering springs and 3" blocks in the rear with shorty shocks. New Windshield and rear window. The rest of the glass is chip and crack free. Brand new throaty dual exhaust that dumps out of the back of the bed, ound great. Good fuel tank, uel lines, nd new fuel pump. This "One of a Kind" Pick Up has many new and upgraded parts.

A "Fauxtina" finish was created by taking the truck down a couple layers of paint Shot in Ivy Green and a final rub through giving it that as found look. The interior is very comfortable. Stock dash, reshly wrapped Tan two tone bench seat free of tears or rips, rey carpet and small back window. Cadillac Telescoping tilt column functions as it should.

The body is straight overall with the only visible rot on top of the inside rockers by the sill plates (see pics). White Bumper and grill with great original stainless, t has patina, ome dents and dings (see Pics). That said the truck is SOLID!!!

The bed has been restored with 3/4 ply-wood and original bed rails, unctioning tailgate, he wood has been stained to complement the body finish. New 1950 Pontiac style bright LED tailights.

This is a California truck and has always been to the best of my knowledge, daily driver with clear California title and real Folsom Prison stamped Black and Yellow commercial Plates. Visible Vin and Body Tags. Drive as is or restore it, ust see to appreciate!!!

I have too many projects going on, nd too little garage space. So, t’s back on E-Bay. In the last few months I have completed the title and registration.

Q: I understand this is a 40 year old truck and likely has a few issues. What are some specific to this truck. Does it run hot? Run rough? Slow to start? Leak from anywhere? Do the brakes pull either direction? Do all the guages work? Do all the lights work (head, ail, urn etc)? What other specific info can you provide about the mechanics of the truck? In the photo it looks like the spare tire is bungee strapped to the bed, s there any other components securing the tire or is it just bungeed?

A: Just raw and unfinished. If you are going to keep the paint job, ’d suggest a clear coat. The bracket for the spare tire is missing. There is a mild oil leak from the pan gasket. The brakes and engine are solid. I think the carburetor is a little too small for the 327; if you put your foot down it seems to starve a little. I recently has Ace Fuel of Santa Clara tear the whole carburetor apart and rebuild it. The heater/defroster are functional, long with the speedometer and battery gauge. The Odometer, emp, uel, il, nd RPM are not working. The headlights work, oth high and low. The new LED brake lights work, hese appear to be 3-way, ut the signal is not connected. So, o signals. The arm rests are worn, nd the sun visor is missing. The interior light cover and glove box are missing, ut the glove door opens and closes. The wipers have been replaced with the chrome covers shown. The windows operate. The rattle can paint left a fair amount of overspray in the jams, nd the rubber door seals are well worn. I took a trip today on this very hot afternoon, nd upon returning home, have a new pin-hole water leak at the top of the radiator. Also, need to change my tow offering, s my delivery vehicle is out of commission. I will be able to help you arrange towing in needed.

Last, mounted the front plate on the grill to pass the California DMV inspection, ut it has since been removed and sits under the seat.
