1941 Chevrolet Chevy Business Coupe 2-door Hot Rod
This car is very unique, ully restored years ago with many special custom details. It's the prefect cruiser - always a head-turner, ery fun to drive, gets great attention at car shows but not too pristine that you'd be afraid to daily drive it.
Starting with the outside in, t's painted with Plymouth Prowler "Burnt Orange" paint with many alterations to give it a more sleek appearance including filling the body seams, shaving the door handles as well as being nosed and decked (removing the trim on the hood and trunk lid) and has a Briz rear bumper. It rides on staggered black steel wheels. It was custom pinstriped back in 2012 with accents on the hood and trunk lid. The photos just don't do it justice.
It has a small block Chevy 350, ored to 0.60 over, humper cam set up with an Edelbrock carburetor. The block is painted classic Chevy orange. The car sounds great withfull-length headers, olded lake pipes and finished with a Warlock exhaust. The car was completely re-wired, as an electric fuel pump, EI distributor and an electric fan.
Modifications to improve the drivability/performance have been added such as power brakes and steering as well as a Chevy El Camino front clip with disc brakes and a ten-bold rear.
The interior is in great shape and typical for a vintage hot rod - black vinyl headliner, rushed velvet seats and door panels, ull black carpeting in the passenger area and trunk. It has great original details including a working manual wind clock, peedometer, uel gauge and manual air vent as well as modern gauges added for more feedback. Vehicle has a CD player(although not hooked up and no speaker). The Navajo blanket is draped over the seat to give it more of a rat rod look, ot that there are holes or any damage to the upholstery.
It's been a great car but need to sell because my father is passing down his hot rod to me and there's only one spot in the garage.
The car is not perfect but great to enjoy as is or an awesome start for an in-depth build. The car could use four tires but I decided not to replace being it's for sale and tires/wheelsare such a personal choice. The passenger's window has a crack but goes up and down fine.
