All original, omplete 1966 Chevrolet C10 PickupLonged (127" wheelbase). This is my daily driver and runs great! Manual 3 speed on the tree. I believe I am the 3rd owner - originally purchased in Olympia, A. First year of mandatory seat belts (there are 2) and backup lights. Love this truck and body style but my work is requiring more travel and I need something a bit newer! Listen to the motor:
More details...
- All original - numbers match
- Just over 90,000 miles but likely rebuilt before I purchased it in Washington
- Original booklet from dealer!
- Stock inline 292 6 cylinder, WD
- 3 speed manual transmission on the tree
- Original wood bed - great shape
- Daily driver
- Recent tuneup, reak check, arburetor rebuild
- Tires in great shape
- It has some dings, ust spots in typical areas
- Doors close well, indows roll properly
- Driver’s side wing window needs new rubber seal
- READY for a full restoration but runs great as it is
- Clutch works great - shimmies when taking off - mechanic said it means the flywheel could be resurfaced
- Gauges work (speed, dometer, uel, emp, tc)
- Wipers work - switch needs replaced
- Windshield fluid and pump system needs fixing - may simply be a fuse panel issue
- All lights work except dome light (have replacement) and rear backup lights - replaced the light assembly and wire harness but must be an issue with fuse panel or switch inside steering column
- There is a slight knocking sound in first gear when decelerating - no other gear does it - 2 different mechanics it is not a big issue but when the clutch is done a quick look inside the transmission might help? Doesn't effect driving, tc.
