Selling my wife's Jeep Liberty. This has been one of the best vehicles we have ever owned. It has never had a check engine light on nor left us on the side of the road. The diesel engine purrs like it is brand new. Since the first day we brought it home my wife has been its personal caretaker. The oil and fuel filter were changed religiously every 10k miles. Only the best as well, ynthetic oil and premium filter. Tranny was flushed at 65k miles. All the plastic idlers and belt tensioner were replaced at 75k miles with metal ones and a new serpentine belt. The clutch went out on the alternator at 70k miles and I had new brushes installed as well as the clutch. At 80k miles the ball joints started making noise and I replaced those with brand new upper control arms and lower ball joints. In addition we had an alignment done. Tires and brakes were replaced at 60k miles and show no wear at all. This Jeep is the best one we have seen around. Not abused, ot beat up and not wore out. She treated this thing like her baby. We bought it with 42k miles on it in 2009. It had been pulled behind a motor home, he tow setup is still bolted onto the front. There are no rock chips all over it so we assume it wasnt pulled too often. The tires are one size larger than stock, ame as a Grand Cherokee. She wanted a taller tire to look more aggressive and these fit perfectly. The interior is in great shape as well. Nothing is broken or cracked. The drivers seat has a very light amount of wear on the bottom but nothing is torn. Has an aftermarket rack on the roof. We have never used it but it is there. This is a no excuse, ly in, rive home Jeep. The diesel will last for years with proper maintenance and get you 28mpg on the interstate and 20 in town.
