1990 Porsche 911 C2 (964)

The C2 (964) was introduced as a new generation for the brand. While keeping the essence of a 911 it moved the mark even higher in many ways.

The bumpers and fenders where better integrated into the new design. Power steering and ABS were introduced for the first time. Torsion bar suspensions were upgraded with coil springs and shock absorbers. Also new was an electronically activated rear spoiler would raise at speeds above 50 mph and then lower at lesser speeds. Dual airbags and automatic climate control keep this car in step with other manufacturers

This is the 2 wheel version of the C4 introduced a year earlier. Both cars looked identical from the outside except for the rear badging.

The new C2 and C4 used a beefed up 3.6 ltr, ir cooled horizontally opposed 6 This engine included electronic fuel injection with twin spark and knock regulation. This power plant propelled the C2 to 5.5 second zero to sixty times and a top end of 163 mph.

This particular C2 was first exported to Canada. It has a clean Vehicle History Report with no accidents and no stories. Stored in the winter months and enjoyed in the warm months this is an excellent example. The car is now housed at the owner’s North Carolina home. It has the US Import Documents and due to its age doesn’t need much else. It currently has an Ontario Plate and Title with no liens. The original factory wheels are available. Speedometer and Odometer are in kilometers.
