Hello all,
Looking to change platforms temporarily so I'm seeing if there is any interest in my tiburon. I love this car and it saddens me to get rid of it but I have had the same type car since I started driving at 16. The car is quick and very fun to drive. By all means the car is not perfect but it is a perfect starter car or quick fixer. There is very minimal TLC that needs to go into this car to get it 100%.The only things I am looking to keep from my car are the rims, ubwoofers, nd amp. If you would like the subwoofer boxes then I can leave them in the car. I plan on using my subwoofers in my next car though. I will gladly include the tub of extra parts I have and my ARK exhaust ($800 value for exhaust) depending on the final purchase price.
Current asking price - $5,000 with extra parts & exhaust
The Good:
I just changed the oil on 5/22. I bought the car with 78,000 miles and it has just under 93,000. I was unsure if they changed the timing belt at 60,000 so I just changed it at 80,000. When I bought the car last august, installed new brake pads as well as drilled and slotted rotors from R1 concepts. I changed the rear leather seats with black leather seats with the red stitching. I will include the touch screen radio as well as bluetooth attachment. I have the 2 button FL2 gear shift surround that has covers inserted into the buttons so if you'd like to create buttons out of them or buy some then you are all set with a pretty rare setup. The interior is all black and white which was custom done by yours truly. The trunk is lined with the FL2 SE plastic storage containers covered by the tiburon trunk mat.
The Bad:
CEL for running lean in bank 2 andthe inspection is up so itcurrently will not pass inspection. Rust on the bottom of the doors that the previous owner tried to cover up but not sure on what they used. I clean it up for the most part. Front seats a little beat up from previous owner. Carbon fiber hood clear coat is fading and the hood is pretty cracked up throughout. I will be including a 5'x5' black gloss 3m DiNOC vinyl wrap to cover up the hood. A couple LED's are out in the driver side high beam angel eye. I had to dremel out a small piece on the trunk plastic due to the fiberglass boxes being a little high and hitting the plastic when closed. Lastly the bluetooth accessory for the radio was damaged from my dogs leash. It still works but you really have to push on the button for it to work.
